Ingredients

  • 350 grams of mushrooms
  • 1 onion
  • 1 chilli
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon of ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon of ground coriander
  • 0.5 teaspoons of chilli powder
  • 0.5 teaspoons of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of tomato puree
  • 3 tablespoon of water

Method

  1. Finely chop the onion and chilli
  2. Fry the onion and chilli on a medium heat for around 5 or so minutes
  3. Meanwhile slice the mushrooms
  4. Add the garlic and cook for another couple of minutes
  5. Add the ground cumin, ground coriander, and chilli powder, cooking for about 1 minute
  6. Add the mushrooms, salt, and tomato puree and mix well
  7. Add some water, reduce to a low heat
  8. Cook for at least 20 minutes, add extra water if getting dry
  9. Serve and top with chives if you've got some
  10. Enjoy!
